MedAppz iSuite takes the headache out of appointment scheduling. In fact, the entire patient flow and data gathering is streamlined improving the patient’s experience. MedAppz’s complete suite of software accesses this information and other data such as insurance and pharmacy preferences from one common database. Meaning information is only entered once.

Scheduling

MedAppz Scheduling can be customized to anyone’s practice. Each physician can set up working hours, type and length of visit templates, and room assignments. In addition, all demographic information is captured at the patient’s initial visit and updated quickly when necessary. MedAppz is securely available via the internet: therefore schedules, demographics, and all other information can be accessed and updated from any location. Should weather or emergencies force changes to the schedule, the necessary changes for scheduled patients can be made quickly and efficiently.

Referrals and Follow Up Appointments

Efficiently manage referrals by providing comprehensive documentation and patient information to other physicians electronically. Templates for most specialties already exist (more can be added at no expense) to ensure best practices for any routine follow up activity. This ensures patients receive all the care they need such as A1C’s, childhood vaccination schedules, etc.

Insurance Verification

Insurance verification is an optional module that allows the front desk to verify insurance, collect any amounts due at check-in or check-out, and provide receipts for the patients.

CCHIT and HIPAA

MedAppz iSuite is CCHIT 2008 certified and is HIPAA compliant. MedAppz provides the ability to document disclosures of protected health information and to de-identify patient data. In addition, the system can produce security audits that display the actions performed, the user, the date and time, and whether the action successfully completed or failed.
